Rob Falconer
Quality Support Manager
Power Construction

I have been involved in in both the design end and construction end of building for over 40 years.  As an architect my experience has been primarily with technical support and detailing the building enclosure.  As Quality Support Manager for Power Construction I have continued to focus on the building enclosure and have a new insights into detailing and constructability.  Being involved with the construction process on a daily basis, I have a deeper knowledge and understanding of the sequence of work, tolerances, compatibility of materials and potential for workmanship related issues, than I did working in the design end of the industry.  My role as Quality Support is to educate our team as  builders on the Architects intent and respect that, and to work with the design team to understand our concerns as builders and work together to resolve any issues prior to construction.  I have a passion for the building science involved with construction.  My experience as a builder brings another perspective to the BEC group and offers an opportunity to develop successful relationships between the design and construction industries.
