Description: This seminar will address masonry cavity wall and veneer systems and the anchors, ties, and other masonry accessories required. It will discuss in detail the different types of reinforcing and anchoring systems including horizontal joint reinforcement, veneer ties, column anchors, and special condition anchors. The program will address construction details and installation techniques. The seminar will also address the trend of wider drainage cavity widths resulting from increased insulation requirements. Attendees will view samples and installation details. Presenter: Kenneth Schmitt, Assoc.
