This seminar will familiarize attendees with the development process of the MSJC (Building Code Requirements & Specification for Masonry Structures (TMS 402/ACI 530/ASCE 5 and MS 602/ACI 530.1/ ASCE 6) while highlighting major changes that were incorporated into the 2008 MSJC & 2011 MSJC editions. A sneak peak at the 2013 MSJC priorities will also be covered. 1:10pm - 2:10pm Ten Things Engineers Need to Know About Masonry Specifications, presented by Rochelle C. Jaffe, AR., S.E., CCS, SMI, FTMS, Principal, Rochelle C. Jaffe Consulting, P.C. This presentation focuses on ten items of masonry specifications that are often not well understood.
