Join the U.S. Green Building Council - Illinois Chapter's North/Northwest Branch for Energy-Saving Strategies: Reducing Air Infiltration. In the Midwest, reducing air infiltration can result in energy cost savings of 20-30%. This presentation will provide attendees with best practice strategies to maximize these energy savings and meet the new state requirements of IECC 2012 energy code. This program is geared toward architects, engineers, general contractors and real estate developers with all levels of experience. It begins with a review of basic building science principles and an overview of building shell testing procedures.
