Presenter Bio: Jeffrey S. Youngerman has represented residential and commercial owners in construction and related disputes starting in 1986, handling claims involving a wide variety of construction issues including warranty, contract, insurance coverage disputes, mold, developer financial mismanagement, reserve, fraud, defense of directors accused of breach of fiduciary duty, claims for injunctive relief and numerous other types of community association litigation. He has also defended contractors, developers and architects in construction cases and has handled an extensive variety of business litigation as well. As a faculty member of Lorman Education Services on construction claims he is a frequent speaker on construction law, and often quoted by local press, including providing live commentary for CBS news during the Chicago deck collapse of 2003.
