New Rules for Cleaning New Masonry presented by Jim Lucas, CSI, Prosoco, Inc. This seminar provides an overview of how masonry materials have changed over the last 40 years and the challenges and procedures involved in cleaning them. New materials like calcium silicate units, concrete brick units, manufactured stone, cast stone, thin natural stone and others are covered. This program will explain: • What new masonry construction clean down is and why it is important. • When clean down must occur and why. • The top three causes of unsatisfactory cleaning and how it can be avoided. • Identify the differences between clay masonry and concrete masonry and explain why that is important.
