This seminar provides an in-depth examination of the roles masonry walls and concrete floors play in building that improve occupant well-being; environmental performance and economic returns. By the end of the course, attendees will: •Name the features that make masonry a sustainable choice. •Explain how air barriers reduce energy waste in buildings. •List ways that masonry, air barriers, and finished concrete flooring can contribute to LEED® points. •Explain how finished concrete flooring can improve building performance. Seating Preferred, general admission tickets for the main classroom are limited availability to the first professionals who reserve their tickets online.
