ABSTRACT: Adjusting your approach to design and construction based on different project delivery methods.

This forum is intended to engage attendees in an interactive discussion about strategies and approaches used in design, pricing, procuring and execution of prefabricated or unitized enclosure assemblies when faced with different project delivery methods, such as Design-Bid-Build, GMP, Design Build, or Design Assist. Examples of assembly types discussed but not limited to curtain wall, window wall, precast and panelized cold-formed steel assemblies.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1.    Identify how the design criteria is established.
2.    Review the strategies and approaches used in design and preconstruction services.
3.    Understand key decision making items in selecting an enclosure type.
4.    Identify market drivers that influence the assemblies available. 
5.    Discuss the various ways construction sequence influences the project delivery method.

For BEC Chicago Members an invite will be sent out via email with a link to a mandatory RSVP. Registration is required by Thursday May 5, 2016. Limited seating available on a first come basis. Priority seating will be given to ASA, BEC, and CSI members as this is a joint event. Non-members will be placed on a waitlist in the order they register and notified on May 6 of availability via e-mail after registered members are accommodated.
