The seminar will introduce rainscreen design as an aesthetic moisture control exterior building design element. It will discuss current building science and the benefits of a rainscreen designed facade element. Current ICC code and ASRHAE recommendations will be reviewed as they relate to rainscreen design. The presenter will discuss multiple rainscreen facades and design elements. At the seminar conclusion, participants should have a well grounded understanding of the rainscreen design and the elements of a rainscreen design.
