Goldberg AIA, CSI, NCARB is an Architect and President of Professional Consultants International, LLC, a building design and construction consulting company. Mr. Goldberg specializes in exterior building envelope systems, with sub-specialties in concrete, ceramic tile, stone, masonry, terrazzo, glass and waterproofing material applications. Mr. Goldberg has over 35 years of architectural and construction industry experience. Mr. Goldberg received his Bachelor of Architecture (1979) and Bachelor of Science in Building Sciences (1977) degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, and has continued professional education at Harvard University Graduate School of Design and MIT Department of Architecture Building Technology Program in Cambridge, MA. Mr. Goldberg holds National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) certification, and is a registered Architect in the U.S. in multiple states. He is a professional member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), served as the President for the Hartford, CT/USA chapter of CSI in 2005, and volunteers in multiple trade association technical committees and ANSI / ASTM committees. Mr. Goldberg is the author of numerous technical articles and books published worldwide. His book titled, “Direct Adhered Ceramic Tile Stone & Thin Brick Facades” is considered the authoritative text on this emerging exterior building envelope technology. Mr. Goldberg is a frequent speaker at global technical conferences such as Construction Specifications Institute, International Masonry Institute, Brick Research Center Forum, COVERINGS Exposition, USA, QUALICER, Spain and CERSAIE, Italy.
